<p>The subject of the invention is a method of safeguarding data contained in a portable communicating terminal (10), said terminal (10) comprising at least means (12) for processing said data, power supply means (14), memory means (16) for storing various types of data, display means (18), a user interface (20) and connection means (22,26,30,34) enabling said terminal (10) to be connected, either directly or indirectly, to a public network (38) such as the internet, a safeguarding program being installed and executed by said terminal (10), said data stored in the terminal (10) taking the form of various files (F) in different formats, said method being characterized in that it provides an in-line safeguard for at least one file (F) selected by the user of said terminal.</p> |
