TRANSFLECTIVE ARRAY SUBSTRATE AND TRANSFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A transflective array substrate and a transflective liquid crystal display are provided to prevent a ray from being projected from a substrate onto a boundary portion of a liquid crystal layer using a gate line, thereby reducing or eliminating abnormal light on the boundary portion. CONSTITUTION: An opaque gate line(21) is installed on a base substrate. The gate line is located between a reflecting electrode and a projecting electrode to prevent a ray from being incident from the base substrate to the gap between the reflecting electrode and the projecting electrode. The gate line is located between the reflecting electrode and the projecting electrode. A thin film transistor electrically connects a gate electrode with the gate line. The gate electrode is installed on the base substrate.
