PURPOSE: An airtight structure for a Teflon lined butterfly valve is provided to increase the durability and life of a valve by installing an airtight unit for preventing fluid from being leaked through a stem in a valve body. CONSTITUTION: An airtight structure for a Teflon lined butterfly valve comprises a valve body(101), a stem hole, a valve seat, and a seat body. An airtight structure is arranged in the valve body and comprises an airtight ring(111), a press ring(112), a Teflon ring, and a press spring. The airtight ring is placed inside the stem hole formed in the valve body and is connected to the seat body of the valve seat. The pressing ring is positioned in the outside of the airtight ring to press the airtight ring in the inward and outward of the stem hole. The Teflon ring finally blocks the leakage of fluid to a stem direction. The press spring is positioned between the Teflon ring and a packing gland to generate pressing force.
