<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member for an airbag device, in which a lining panel is hard to interfere with a cover panel around a door peripheral part when a door part is opening, and an airbag device provided with the cover member for an airbag device. <P>SOLUTION: The lining panel 60 comprises a door lining part 61 overlapped with the cover panel 50 along the door part 53, and a door peripheral range lining part 62 overlapped with a peripheral range of the door part 53. A reinforcing panel 70 is installed on the back side of the door peripheral range lining part 62. Base piece parts 62a and 71 of the door peripheral range lining part 62 and the reinforcing panel 70 are respectively extended along the door part 53 on one side and a non-open part 54 on the other side of the cover panel 50 over a hinge line 52.
