PURPOSE: A broadcasting service system using a social network and a method thereof are provided to set words or terms which a user is interested in, thereby capturing a broadcasting service corresponding to the preset words or the terms when one of personal connections in a social network service provides an arbitrary broadcasting service. CONSTITUTION: A personal connections managing unit(210) stores and manages personal connections information. A social communication unit(220) provides a function about messenger communication, board registration, and a broadcasting service through a website based on at least one communication information. A broadcasting service unit(230) automatically captures a broadcasting service corresponding to the preset words or terms. The broadcasting service unit records by classifying the captured broadcasting service.
