<p>The barrier (10) has a removable axial hinge unit (32) comprising a cylindrical tubular female hinge hook and a complementary hinge pintel respectively fixed to top and lower edges (24, 26) of rectangular bottom and top frames (18, 22). A male hinge pin is connected to the hook. The pin is introduced into a side slit of the hook so as to introduce the pin in a direction perpendicular to the top edge when the top frame is arranged perpendicular to the bottom frame. The pin is pivoted in the hook to connect the frames when the top frame is pivoted to be in coplanar with the bottom frame. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a frame of an individual safety barrier element.</p> |
