PURPOSE: A negative electrode active material is provided to improve capacity and life time performance of a secondary battery by using silicon based active material capable of increasing capacity and shape memory polymer together. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode active material comprises a silicon-based active material consisting of silicon-based material, or silicon-based active material coated with conductive carbon on surface, polynorbornene shape memory polymer represented by chemical formula 1, of which weight average molecular weight is 5,000-300,000, and a conductive material. In chemical formula 1, R1 is hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-15 alkyl group, a carboxylic acid ester group, a silyl group, an alkoxysilyl group, and a siloxy group. |
