PURPOSE: A nickel plating composition is provided to prevent iron from becoming oxidized by an antioxidant and reducing the change range of pH. CONSTITUTION: A nickel plating composition comprises 10~50 %(w/w) of nickel sulfate, 1~15 % (w/w) of metal hydroxide, 0.01~5 %(w/w) of dispersing agent, 0.05~10 %(w/w) of complexing agent, 0.01~5 %(w/w) of antioxidant, 0.1~20 %(w/w) of conductivity agent, 0.01~5%(w/w) of surface improver, and residual water. The metal hydroxide is one of the sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, and the magnesium hydroxide. The dispersing agent is one of the carboxyl-polymer or modacrylic polymer.
