PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer substrate which can control the attenuation of signal partially even if the multi-layer substrate is made thin, and thereby, can optionally select a transmission distance. SOLUTION: The multi-layer substrate has a substrate portion A and substrate portion B. The ground conductors of both surfaces of the substrate portions A, B are held in common. A stripped conductors of the substrate portion A and stripped conductors 25-1 to 25-9 of the substrate portion B are electrically connected, and a signal is transferred between the substrate portion A and the substrate portion B located so as to surround it. Since the substrate portion A is positioned in the center of the multi-layer substrate and signals are concentrated, the substrate portion A has stripped lines of two layers. Meanwhile, since the substrate portion B is positioned in the external edge of the multi-layer substrate portion B and signals less than the substrate portion A are concentrated, the substrate portion B has a stripped line of a single layer.
