<p>The tool comprises an outer tube 4 with a slit 5, for incorporating the peg 7. A hook 3 attaches to the peg to the main shaft 2 connected to the handle grip bar 1 when the tool is in use. In use the peg is attached to the hook and pulled up into the tube using the handle, the tube is placed near the ground and the handle is pressed down to push the peg into the ground. To remove the peg the peg is attached to the hook and the handle is pulled to remove the peg. The tool reduces the need to hammer a peg directly into the ground and reduces the likelihood of hammering the peg into stones as it is possible to feel for stones prior to pressing the peg into the ground.</p> |
