DEVICE FOR DELAYING SHIP'S SINKING

PURPOSE: A sunken delay device for a ship is provided to detect the damage of a ship during the sailing of a ship and to delay the sunken time of a hull by generating additional buoyancy while reducing the sunken rate of the hull by rapidly deploying an airbag module. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for delaying sinking of a ship comprises a collision sensor(10), a control part(12), and an airbag module(14). The collision sensor detects the collision of a hull. If collision signals are inputted from the collision sensor, the control part determined an internal sunken state and outputs deploying signals. The airbag module is deployed to generate additional buoyancy when the deploying signals are inputted from the control part.
