PURPOSE: An electric excavator system is provided to perform a work within a limited range by detachably coupling a power supply unit to a power receiving unit. CONSTITUTION: An electric excavator system comprises a power supply unit(100) and a power receiving unit(200). The power supply unit comprises a power box(110), a cable drum(120), a drum drive unit(122), a cable guide(130), a length detection unit, and a transmission unit. The drum drive unit controls the rotation of the cable drum. The cable guide guides a charging cable. The length detection unit detects the drawing length of the cable. When the detected length of the cable is a maximum or minimum drawing length, the transmission unit transmits the signal to the power receiving unit. The power receiving unit comprises a cable connector, a storage battery(210), an overcharge prevention unit(212), a charge volume detection unit(214), an inverter(220), an alarm unit(250), and a receiving unit. The cable connector is connected to the cable of the power supply unit. The charge volume detection unit detects the potential difference of the storage battery and outputs the detected results to the controller. When the detected potential difference of the storage battery is lower than a reference potential difference, the alarm unit outputs an alarm.
