PURPOSE: A foreign material filtering apparatus for a water tank capable of preventing the blockage of a sponge filter is provided to separately store the filter with foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A foreign material filtering apparatus for a water tank includes a water inlet chamber(500), a connection pipe(700), a main storage container(400), a sub-storage container(600), and a filter(104). The water inlet chamber sucks in foreign materials into plural places installed on the lower side of a main body. The connection pipe transfers water from the water inlet chamber to a cyclone container(200). The main and sub-storage containers are located on the lower side of the cyclone container. The filter filters the water separated from the foreign materials in the cyclone container. An underwater motor(100) is installed on the upper side of the filter. |
