PURPOSE: An electric excavator system is provided to improve work efficiency by maximizing an operation range and to prevent damage to a cable by properly maintaining the tension of the cable. CONSTITUTION: An electric excavator system comprises a power supply unit(100) and a power receiving unit(200). The power supply unit comprises a power box(110), a cable drum(120), a drum drive unit(122), a control unit(124), a cable guide(130), and a first wireless communication unit(140). The control unit controls the drum drive unit and has a computation unit and a memory unit. The computation unit confirms the position of an excavator. The memory unit periodically stores the positions of the excavator. The cable guide guides a cable drawn out of the cable drum. The power receiving unit comprises a controller(240), a storage battery(210), an overcharge prevention unit(212), a charge volume detection unit(214), an inverter(220), an alarm unit(250), a second wireless communication unit(234), and a GPS receiving unit(236). The second wireless communication unit is connected to the controller and communicates with the first wireless communication unit. The GPS receiving unit periodically receives the positions of the excavator.
