PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a three dimensional textile article is provided to maintain reliability of the shape during additional production process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a three dimensional textile article(12) comprises: a step of preparing a first textile layer(16) with a first shrinkage potential; a step of arranging a second textile layer(17) with a second shrinkage potential which is different from the first layer shrinkage potential; a step of mechanically connecting two layers; and a step of starting a shrink process. An additional textile layer is arranged between the first and second textile layers. A textile element contains first and second textile layers with first and second shrinkage properties, respectively.
