MUSSEL ADHESIVE PROTEINS OBTAINED FROM TYROSINASE CO-EXPRESSION

PURPOSE: A method for preparing recombinant mussel adhesive proteins modified from tyrosine residue to dopa or dopa quinine is provided to produce a large amount of the active proteins. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing mussel adhesive proteins comprises: a step of preparing a vector containing nucleic acids encoding tyrosinase and a vector containing a nucleic acid encoding mussel adhesive proteins; a step of transforming two vectors into one host cell to prepare a transformant; a step of culturing the transformant and co-expression of tyrosinase and mussel adhesive proteins; and a step of isolating and purifying the mussel adhesive proteins. An adhesive composition contains the mussel adhesive protein.
