PURPOSE: A filter layer backwashing device and method of a collecting conduit is provided to reduce work time by washing a filter layer using the water level difference of water. CONSTITUTION: A filter layer backwashing device of a collecting conduit comprises multiple perforated pipes(100), a collecting well(200), a transfer pipe(300), an intake station(400), a backwash unit(500), and an intake pipe(600). The perforated pipe is buried in the bottom of a filter layer(10) and transfers water flowing from the filter layer. The collecting well collects the water transferred through the perforated pipe. The transfer pipe transfers the collected water to the intake station. The intake station stores the transferred water. The backwash unit stores water with foreign materials and washes the filter layer using the water jetted through the perforated pipe. The intake pipe supplies the stored water to a filtration plant(20).
