PURPOSE: A reducer of an electric power steering apparatus is provided to supply auxiliary steering force for steering wheel manipulation by minimizing the clearance following the change of torque change. CONSTITUTION: A reducer of an electric power steering apparatus comprises a worm shaft(254), a worm wheel(156), and an elastic supporter(305). A helix worm(152) is formed on the worm shaft. A worm gear portion(156a) engaged with the worm is formed on the worm wheel. The elastic supporter supports the worm to be forced opposite to the worm gear portion. The elastic supporter supports the end portion of the worm shaft or a worm shaft bearing with a predetermined inclined angle.
