PURPOSE: An e-book terminal and a providing method thereof are provided to increase the usability of the e-book terminal by controlling an e-book interface or an object based on user intention. CONSTITUTION: A display module(120) displays an e-book interface and an internal object displayed in the e-book interface on an e-book terminal. A signal input module(130) receives a touch signal from a touch sensor module included in the e-book terminal. If the touch signal is inputted to an object area corresponding to the internal object, a determining module(140) determines the touch signal as an interface or object control signal based on state changes of the touch signal. A control module(110) controls the e-book interface or the internal object so that the e-book interface or the internal object corresponds to the touch signal according to the determination result.
