PURPOSE: An organic EL display device and an adhesive composition for encapsulating an organic EL device are provided to improve the leveling and coating property of a surface by including one or more additives in the adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION: An organic EL device(3) is formed on one side of a first substrate(2). A second substrate(4) is separated from the first substrate. The first substrate is adhered to the second substrate by an adhesive layer(5). The adhesive layer is hardened at 90 degrees centigrade for 2 hours. An average molecular weight of the adhesive layer is 200 to 3000 g/mol.
