A suspender for a brushcutter includes a hook member to be hooked on a retaining part and a stopper member to be inserted into the retaining part to keep the hook member hooked upon the retaining part. When the stopper member is pushed down, an elastic piece attached to the hook member is pressed and elastically deforms and opens a hook part of the hook member.
