PURPOSE: A precious metal recovery apparatus with a photocatalyst, an ultraviolet sterilization lamp, and an air feeder is provided to ensure a compact structure, prevent the solidification of ion resin, and smoothly discharge organic materials in collecting containers. CONSTITUTION: A precious metal recovery apparatus comprises a pair of precious metal collecting containers(100,101), a circulating pump(300), a pipe member(500), an ultraviolet sterilization lamp(600), and a filter(700). Strainers(150,152,151,153) are installed in supply and discharge pipes(130) and drain pipes(140,141). The circulating pump draws in waste liquid from a source liquid tank(200) and circulates the waste liquid through the pair of precious metal collecting containers. A plurality of valves(400) connecting the pair of precious metal collecting containers and the source liquid tank are installed in the pipe member. The ultraviolet sterilization lamp a sterilization and decomposition container(610) which is installed between the source liquid tank and the precious metal collecting containers and coated with photocatalyst, a cylinder member(630), and an ultraviolet lamp(620). The filter eliminates organic materials and foreign materials included in the waste liquid.
