The hammer (10) has three active parts (18a-18c) engaged with a heart-shaped cam (22) of a chronograph mechanism. Two of the active parts are arranged at both sides of a longitudinal axis (AA) of a body (12) on a lever (24) and formed by a finger (28) elastically deformable in a plane of the lever. A stop member i.e. bearing zone (30), limits bending of the finger. The lever includes portions (24a, 24b) defined with reference to a pivot point of the lever on the body. One of the portions includes a notch (26) directed toward the pivot point.
