PURPOSE: A producing method of rod shaped rice cake having excellent eating texture is provided to offer the taste of pan-fried kimchi, rice, and cheese to eaters. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of rod shaped rice cake comprises the following steps: soaking 100 parts of rice by weight in water, dehydrating before adding 0.3-0.7 parts of salt by weight, and firstly crushing the mixture using a crusher; finely cutting kimchi, and pan-frying the kimchi with butter, tomato sauce, and salsa sauce; inserting 15-30 parts of pan-fried kimchi mixture by weight into the firstly crushed rice powder, and secondly crushing the mixture; steaming the mixture in a rice cake steamer; sprinkling 10-30 parts of cheese by weight on the steamed rice cake, and mixing; and extruding the mixture using a rod shaped rice cake molder.
