OPTICAL NETWORK TERMINATION APPARATUS OF GIGABIT-PASSIVE OPTICAL NETWORK SYSTEM FOR WDM HYBRID-PON

PURPOSE: An ONT(Optical Network Terminal) apparatus of a GPO(Gigabit-Passive Optical) network system for a wavelength division multiplexing hybrid-passive optical network are provided to terminate the TPS(Triple Play Service) of video, sound, and data. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(110) supports an SLIP(Serial Line Interface Protocol) for two or more ports for a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol). An L2 switch unit(120) processes each traffic of the ports included in the interface unit. The L2 switch unit provides a switch capacity for simultaneously process the traffic of line speed in each port. A QoS(Quality of Service) function unit(130) distinguishes each traffic class of the packets using each header information of packets processed in the L2 switch unit. The QoS function unit determines the order priority of the packets based on the traffic class.
