<p>The present invention relates to a stator for a lock cylinder of a motor vehicle, the stator being designed to receive a rotor rotatably mounted about an axis of the stator, in which rotor tumblers of identical external shape are slideably mounted, these tumblers comprising one guide portion having a useful translational guide width and another locking portion, having a projecting width (L1), penetrating the groove, of width (L), in the stator, in a transverse direction, between at least one projecting intermediate position in which they rotationally immobilize the rotor with respect to the stator by entering the groove in the stator provided for this purpose, and a retracted intermediate position in which they are received inside the rotor (10) and towards which they are forced by the insertion of an appropriate key into the rotor, such that the width (L) of the groove in the stator receiving the tumblers is very slightly greater than the projecting width (L1) of the tumblers and equal to (L2) except at the level of at least one tumbler where locally the width (L) of the groove in the stator is substantially greater than the projecting width (L1) of the tumblers and is equal to (L3).</p> |
