PURPOSE: A rack bush and a rack pinion type steering device for a vehicle comprising the same are provided to improve durability, abrasion resistance, and the assembling property of a ball bearing by forming a slit for filling lubricant. CONSTITUTION: A rack bush(230) comprises a body portion(240) and a bushing member(260). The body portion is fixed in a rack housing(210) and comprises a hollow pipe for the penetration of a rack bar(220). The hollow pipe is divided into a small diameter portion and a large diameter portion. The bushing member is formed along the peripheral surface of the hollow pipe. The bushing member is contacted with the exterior of the rack bar passing through the hollow pipe to be slid. The bushing member is formed along the peripheral surface of the small diameter portion.
