<p>The process comprises welding (S1) a sleeve (20) extending from a sleeve passage (12) of a pressurizer nuclear reactor on a connecting zone (22) integral with a heating rod that is placed at a distance from the pressurizer, where the sleeve passage is capable of receiving a new heating rod (18), and welding (S2) the extension sleeve on the sleeve passage that is directly disposed on the pressurizer. The extension sleeve is made of a material having a sulfur content of 0.01-0.015%. The connecting zone is carried by a connecting piece that is welded on the heating rod. The step of welding the extension sleeve is carried out through three external welding passes. The extension sleeve and the sleeve passage comprise a tubular portion in which, during the second welding step, the inert gas is injected through orifices formed in one and/or the other of the tubular portions of the sleeves so as to circulate the gas from the outside to the inside of the extension sleeve and the sleeve passage. An independent claim is included for a kit for mounting a nuclear reactor pressurizer for the replacement of a heating rod of the pressurizer.</p> |
