BACKLIGHT UNIT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to have a film type optical device package with high light intensity. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of optical device packages(300) are installed on a substrate(100). The substrate includes a plurality of areas which are aligned in series. A reflector(200) is attached onto the substrate to surround the areas. The optical device packages are installed on the areas. The reflector includes first reflector members and second reflector members. The first reflectors are installed on both sides of the optical device packages along a length direction of the substrate. The second reflectors are installed on sides except for sides of the optical device packages.
