AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM FOR A DRIVER OF IMMOBILIZER VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An authentication system and method for a driver in an immobilizer vehicle are provided to improve client convenience and vehicle performance by starting the vehicle through a process of authenticating public authentication key of the driver. CONSTITUTION: An internet system(300) transfers a public authentication key for a driver by running a public authorization program through internet connection. An immobilizer apparatus(100) receives a key signal by being communicated with a transponder key. The immobilizer apparatus requests authentication of the driver by transferring an authentication request message including the received key signal. An engine management apparatus(200) authenticates the driver by analyzing an authentication request message delivered from the immobilizer apparatus. The engine management apparatus receives the public authentication key by being communicated with the internet system in a failure state of the authentication of the driver.
