PURPOSE: An RTLS(Real Time Location System) tag apparatus and location tracking system are provided to track accurate locations selectively using a GPS(Global Positioning System) or RTLS according to an area where an RTLS tag apparatus locates. CONSTITUTION: A main power source unit(150) generates operation power using a piezoelectric device. A control unit(140) selectively control a Wi-Fi module unit or a GPS(Global Positioning System) module unit according to an SSID(Service Set Identification). The control unit collects tag information. When an emergency situation event is generated, the control unit generates an emergency signal. The control unit transmits the tag information and the emergency signal to the Wi-Fi module unit.
