PURPOSE: A dish washing apparatus is provided to reduce water consumption by washing dishes with a small amount of water and high-pressure flow of air. CONSTITUTION: A dish washing apparatus comprises a collecting part, a washing part, and a food scrap collecting device. The collecting part comprises a feed conveyor(11) transferring food trays, a tool collecting groove(12) for collecting eating tools, and a food scrap collecting groove(13) for collecting the residual food scraps. The washing part comprises a washing conveyor(21) with supports arranged at regular intervals for supporting the transferred food trays and a steam spray unit(22) installed in the washing conveyor to spray high-pressure steam to the food trays. The food scrap collecting device is installed under the washing conveyor to press and transfer food scrap separated and dropped from the food trays and discharge the food scrap after removing moisture.
