<p>The method involves generating an electric field of a material from two electrodes so as to cause a migration of a chemical ion between the electrodes. Intensity of an electric current signal generated between the electrodes is measured in response to the applied electric field. A diffusion coefficient of the ion is calculated from a following equation containing parameters selected from electrical potential difference, average temperature of the solution, a characteristic surface of the material and valence of the ion.</p> |
