<p>The method involves injecting hydrogenated nitrogen gas on a side of an assembly of plates (12) in a heat exchanger (11), and checking for leaks by using a gas sensor (17) connected to another side of the assembly of plates. The hydrogenated nitrogen gas is pressurized and introduced at an input circuit (13) of the heat exchanger, and an output signal is recovered from an output circuit of the exchanger by using a vacuum pump (15), where the plates are tested individually, and the nitrogen is hydrogenated at 5 percent.</p> |
