The device (10) has a fixing unit (13) to fix a structure (12) to a fixed support of an existing monitoring installation (11). A first fastener (14) is adjusted in fixed position on the structure by a connection unit. A second fastener (15) is fixed at a back portion of a new format flat screen monitor (16) and engaged with the first fastener to removably attach the monitor with the structure so as to attach the monitor with the installation. The second fastener is slid in the first fastener along a downward vertical direction until being blocked on a lower part of the first fastener.
