CENTER PLATE SYSTEM FOR MOLTEN CARBONATE FUEL CELL HAVING EXTERNAL MANIFOLD

PURPOSE: A center plate system of external manifold type molten carbonate fuel cell is provided to simplify a block plate through a structure change of a center plate, and to improve productivity and weldability thereby capable of increasing sealability and performance of a fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: A center plate system of an external manifold type molten carbonate fuel cell comprises a tetragonal center plate(100), and a pair of an anode wet room(110) and a cathode wet room(120) in the opposite side of the center plate. A cross section of the each side has a shape of branket to arrange the anode wet room and the cathode wet room neighboring each other around an edge of the center plate. A cross section of the anode wet room and cathode wet room have the shape of a bracket to arrange the same to neighbor each other around an edge of the center plate. A cross section of the each side has the shape of an inverted 'S' to arrange an edge part where the anode wet room and the cathode wet room are neighboring each other.
