The case has a base (2) for defining a cavity for receiving a cosmetic product, and a lid (3) for closing the cavity in a reversible manner. Two magnetic assemblies comprise two magnetized rings (8, 11) that are arranged in the lid and the base, respectively. A control button (4) is handled to generate relative displacement between the magnetized rings, where the magnetized rings maintain the lid in a closed position. The two magnetic assemblies are spaced by an angular sector greater than or equal to 90 degree around an access opening of the cavity.
