The shredder has radial walls (3, 4) uniformly spaced along a central shaft (2) of a rotor (1) carrying fixed reduction tools. Each tool has an elongate body (8) with a cutting end (8a) and a bore (8b). A front extension (9) has an end hook (9a) in which a spacer bar (6b) is placed. Each tool is fixed to the rotor by passing a section (10a) of a cylindrical finger (10) via the bore and terminating the section in an orifice (11) of one of the walls. The finger has another section (10b) having diameter larger than that of the former section and cooperating with an orifice (12) of the other wall. The sections have radii whose difference is equal to the insertion of the spacer bar in the hook.
