PURPOSE: A defrosting apparatus for a stand-type kimchi refrigerator is provided to effectively remove frost from the refrigerator by circulating heated air in a duct and the outside of the refrigerator using a fan. CONSTITUTION: A defrosting apparatus for a stand-type kimchi refrigerator comprises the following: a fan(50) inhaling cool air from the outside of the refrigerator; a discharging openings(100,200a) discharging the cool air to the inside of the refrigerator; ducts including a suction inlet(300) for inhaling the cool air to the inside of the refrigerator; first dampers controlling the discharge of the cool air through the discharging openings; a second damper(200b) controlling the inhalation of the cool air through the suction inlet; a third damper(200b) discharging air heated by a defrosting heater(400) to the outside of the refrigerator after passing through the inside of the ducts; and a controller controlling the dampers. |
