A miter device 1 for cutting an object 20 at a predetermined angle a comprises: a support frame 2 having a support surface 5 for receiving said object; two side walls 9 provided with guiding slots 21 defining said angle, to guide a saw during a sawing operation to cut the object wherein the object is present between the side walls during sawing; and a clamping device 3 moveably connected to the support frame and provided with a clamping surface 12 positioned opposite the support surface and displaceable towards the support surface to clamp the object. To clamp the object in an easy manner both side walls are part of the clamping device. In use, the user only has to push the clamping device towards the support surface. Therefore, providing the desired clamping force can be provided with one hand easily. |
