<p>A description is given of a wood trimming machine, in particular a machine for edging logs of wood, comprising a machine frame, two lateral cutting tools for cutting the log of wood on two sides that are not adjacent, conveying means for transporting the log of wood for the cutting, separating means for separating the offcuts or chips on both sides of the cut log of wood and cutting means for cutting at least one of the sides of the cut log of wood that is adjacent to the two cut sides. The separating means consist of flat plates which are inclined in relation to the working surface and raise the offcuts or chips above the cutting tools of the third side of the log of wood.</p> |
