<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel curable ink composition containing a coated magnetic metal nanoparticle. <P>SOLUTION: The ink contains a curable ink carrier containing a monomer, a photoinitiator, an optional curable oligomer and one or more optional additives; a coated magnetic nanoparticle containing a magnetic metal core and a protection coating disposed on the magnetic metal core; and an optional coloring agent.
