<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus that can appropriately separate a plurality of different signals from one another by correlation processing and subject the signals to beam synthesis. <P>SOLUTION: A radar apparatus is provided with a modulated waveform selector 1 that selects, out of a plurality of nonlinear frequency-modulated waveforms that differ in chirp rate between the central part and the edge parts of pulse, a combination of nonlinear frequency-modulated waveforms whose range shift quantities ΔR attributable to a Doppler frequency are equalized, and a frequency modulator 2 generates a plurality of modulated signals by subjecting transmission signals to frequency modulation by using each of the nonlinear frequency-modulated waveforms selected by the modulated waveform selector 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
