<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine for achieving a game rich in interest by increasing the intervention of a game technique of a player and improving a player's participation consciousness of a game. <P>SOLUTION: In the pinball game machine, when predetermined game conditions are satisfied according to progress of a game, an effective period where entrance of a game ball to a specific area is made effective for a predetermined amount of time is started, and a jackpot game for opening a large prize hole for a predetermined number of times when a ball enters the specific area during the effective period is executed. In the pinball game machine, the effective period is classified into a plurality of periods at a lapse of time, and jackpot games where the game value differs each are set in advance corresponding to the plurality of classified grouped periods.
