摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of smoothly peeling an inorganic vapor-deposited film, for use in a process in which the surface layer of a sample is formed in a thin film over a plastic base and which permits observation of a broad range when used in transmission electron microscopic observation, off the plastic base film, to which the deposited film would otherwise very firmly adhere, for use as a sample for transmission electron microscopic observation. <P>SOLUTION: A method of preparing thin film samples for planar observation by electron microscope, each sample being formed over a base film of thermoplastic resin, comprises a step of transforming the base film of a deposited film having a thin film over the base film, a step of sticking an adhesive tape to the transformed thin film surface of the deposited film, a step of peeling the adhesive tape off, a step of dissolving the adhesive agent of the peeled-off adhesive tape, and a step of transcribing onto a thin flake grid for observation use a sample film floating on the surface of solution in which the adhesive agent is dissolved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
