<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable management of the usage state of each of keys which are used for conventionally, simply constructed locks requiring no authentication processing or the like for locking/unlocking process, even in a usage condition where users are frequently shifted when using a plurality of identical keys. <P>SOLUTION: A key 11 detects the operating condition of itself, as an operation history, using an acceleration sensor incorporated therein, and transmits the operation history to a hall computer 22 via AP 13. The hall computer 22 acquires information of the operation history of the key 11 via the AP 13 and displays information of the operating condition on a display part 22a. Here, when a non-connection time precluding the hall computer 22 from communicating with the key 11 via the AP 13 reaches or exceeds a predetermined period, the hall computer 22 communicates with the key 11 via a public line 23 to request position information to be transmitted through a GPS incorporated in the key 11 and acquires the position information.
