<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder which can reduces the time required for detection, and has a structure that enables discrimination of a terminal state without causing false detection even when the change of conveyance load is caused by the diameter change and the weight change in a roll. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeder having the structure 54, which provides the back tension for the roll during normal conveyance by a differential action based on the rotation from a return-drivable drive motor DM side, transmitted to a driving side and a following side of a torque limiter 54, respectively, and the rotation from the roll 30 side by roll traction, includes a controller 100 to which the rotation amount of the drive motor DM and the change in current value are input to set the operation position of the drive motor DM, wherein the controller 100 determines the adhesion condition of the roll termination according to the lowering state of the rotation amount, and sets the conveyance condition of the roll corresponding to the adhesion condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
