摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a scintillator for high-temperature environments which has satisfactory luminescent properties in high-temperature environments; and a method for detecting radiation in high-temperature environments. The scintillator for high-temperature environments comprises a colquiriite crystal which is represented by the chemical formula LiM1M2X6 (wherein M1 is at least one alkaline-earth metal element selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba; M2 is at least one metallic element selected from Al, Ga, and Sc; and X is at least one halogen element selected from F, Cl, Br, and I), the crystal being represented by LiCaAlF6, etc., and into which a lanthanide element, e.g., Ce or Eu, has been incorporated according to need. The method for detecting radiation in high-temperature environments uses the scintillator.
