Disclosed is an intrusion detection device of the present embodiment, in which a determination unit allows a wave sending unit to stop sending ultrasonic waves until a signal level of a Doppler signal exceeds a predetermined threshold value (threshold value of window glass fracture detection), and when the signal level of the Doppler signal exceeds the predetermined threshold value, the determination unit allows the wave sending unit to send the ultrasonic waves. Thus, unless window glass fracture is detected, the wave sending unit stops sending waves, thereby enabling lower power consumption. Furthermore, since processing of intrusion detection is performed after the detection of the window glass fracture, it is possible to suppress erroneous detection of an intruder caused by movement of an object other than a person (e.g., falling of leaned documents, blinds <sunshades> or the like). |
