The invention relates to a cover (10) for enclosing a region of a printed circuit board (12) and electrical and/or electronic components (40) arranged in said region, wherein the cover (10) comprises a plurality of parts (14, 16, 18) that are attached to each other, and at least one of said parts (14, 16, 18) comprises appendages (22) for inserting into corresponding passages (20) through the printed circuit board (12) and a further one of said parts (18) is designed as a cover hood (18) that is attached to a part comprising the appendages (22). Two of the parts comprise appendages (22) and are designed as mutually opposite lateral walls (14, 16) that extend perpendicularly to the printed circuit board (12), and the end sections (24) of the appendages (22) comprise detent structures (26) for the latching engagement over regions of the printed circuit board (12) surrounding the passages (20) and can be deformed at least in the region of said end sections (24). The invention further relates to an electronics housing (52) comprising a corresponding cover (10) and to a method for installing a corresponding cover (10).
